Homeless Woman & Dog | Curitiba, BR | October 31, 2009 After awaking from their nap under the shade of a city tree, they were both happy to pose for me outside the Music Hall Curitiba while I was on tour with Killswitch Engage. She loved her faithful companion very much and, via a translator (as she gave the dog kisses on top of the head, mind you), told me that the dog was her best friend in the world. I’ll never forget her and when I think about this trip, I wonder if they’re still together.

Killswitch Engage | The Disarming Process [book] | Available Now! The Disarming Process is a limited edition collection featuring both my photography and design. It’s an 80-page hardcover book with over 100 photos taken in the studio, on tour, backstage, in rehearsals, at sound checks and hanging out both in the U.S. and around the world as the guys prepared to release their sixth full-length album, Disarm the Descent, due out April 2.Chapter 1 captures the band in the studio tracking Disarm the Descent, Chapter 2 documents the week of the band’s return to the live stage at the New England Metal & Hardcore Festival in April 2012 while Chapter 3 follows the band on tour in Europe through the likes of Germany, Czech Republic, Italy, Switzerland and Belgium.
